Your
reports will concisely summarise a key theoretical concept (see the list at the
end of this document) and then discuss how the guest lecturer’s presentation
related to it (i.e. discuss the profiled business in terms of how they utilised
or applied the theory in the real world).

Instructions:

·
You
will write shortreports in a formal
academic style that will present your arguments and supporting literature in a
clear and logical manner.

·
You
must provide correct in-text APA
citations
in your reports and full APA references in your Reference List at the end of the
reports.

·
The
reports are a maximum of 3 pages in
length, excluding the cover page and references.

·
The
reports must follow the Faculty of Agribusiness & Commerce Style Guide
(e.g. Calibri 12 font, double line spacing, etc).

·
The
reports should have a short introduction paragraph, a paragraph
discussing/outlining the theoretical concept, a paragraph explaining the links
between the profiled company and the theory, and a short concluding paragraph.

referencing – correct use of the APA referencing format for both in-text

concept – a concise but thorough summary of literature relating to the chosen
theory. Provide evidence that you have
read widely about the topic (i.e. citations are required!).

Relationship
to guest lecture – an examination of how/why the profiled business has
applied or utilised the theory in real life.
How did they adopt the theory and was this across all their markets? Why did they do this and did their reason/s
match what the literature said? What
benefits did they gain by doing so and do these match what the literature
said?
