Research Proposal
The research proposal is your plan to research the International Business problem you have
identified and to explain the results of your research. The proposal will provide you an
opportunity to lay out the process for completion of your research study.

Week 6 Assignment: Convince Your Audience
Activity Description
Whether proposals for research funding, or research requested by
supervisors, researchers must learn to present their proposals in a
succinct and professional manner. Based on your findings in the
previous assignment, create a PowerPoint presentation in which
you provide decision makers a summary of your study and the
proposed solution. Your audience initially will be your immediate
manager and your vice president of operations.
Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as
well as “speaker notes” for each slide. The speaker notes may be
comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists. Support your
presentation with at least three (3) scholarly resources. In addition
to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources
may be included. Be sure to include citations for quotations and
paraphrases with references in APA format and style where
appropriate.
Length: 10-15 slides (with a separate reference slide).
Notes Length: 100-150 words for each slide.
