have been hired as the security director for a residential complex in your
community. Formerly, the complex used a contractual security firm to patrol and
safeguard the complex. Management has decided not to renew their contract due
to too many complaints of improper security methods used by their guards.
Management has asked you to create a small proprietary security staff to patrol
the complex and ensure safety for its occupants and visitors. Prepare a set of
written instructions to all security officers, detailing the legal behavior
they should adhere to regarding arrests and searches and seizures.
