Sunshine Builders takes place in the late 50’s; but it is perfect for understanding construction projects. Construction projects are excellent at learning about project management because nearly every construction project can be broken down into individual steps. Even if you have no experience building a house, we can all relate to it. Charles and Arthur Root, founders of Sunshine Builders, are experiencing changes in their demand patterns which is causing them to re-think their processes.

2. What is the chief problem at Sunshine Builders, and how can it be resolved? Make sure to remember that the case takes place in the late 1950’s so some of the technological solutions we would use today would not be available. This will call for structural solutions more than technological ones.
