Environmental Scan
Conduct an abbreviated environmental scan for Amazon. Scan the organization’s internal environment and the external environment. Your scan must include an application portfolio analysis.
- Concentrate on establishing whether the wicked problems you have identified are in fact:
- Problems meriting your consideration.
- Amenable to an information technology solution.
- Consider threats, weaknesses, strengths, and opportunities in the environment, which may closely relate to the wicked problems you face.
- For each wicked problem, you deem worthy of further consideration:
- Provide a name.
- List its associated threats, weaknesses, strengths, and opportunities, including issues, situations, and potential pitfalls.
- Document the source from which you identified each threat, weakness, strength, and opportunity.
- Explain how information technology may contribute to solution of the problem
