What is/are the task(s)?
Read research and industry articles on operational challenges faced by distribution channels. Choose any one (1) challenge listed below and briefly discuss how the challenge may be eased or resolved.
Choose ANY one (1) operational challenge faced by distribution channels from the following:
- Cost of managing distribution channels
- Regulations in products/services of different markets
- The impact of labour conditions in different markets
PLEASE USE AT LEAST 20 REFERENCES. A TIP WILL BE GIVEN FOR EXCEPTIONAL WORK.
What is/are to be submitted?
Present your findings and discussions in a RESEARCH ESSAY PAPER format. Your research essay paper should be 1500 words (± 5%) in length and a word count is required at the end of the essay paper. Upload your essay paper onto the Blackboard in Week 6 on.
How this task will be assessed?
NB: Below sections are not the complete presentation format for a research essay. As suggested above, refer to the College of Business’ Presentation of Written Work guidelines for the correct presentation format for a research essay.
*Synopsis/Abstract (20%) – Succinct summary of main findings and recommendation.
* Extent of research (15%) – Comprehensive coverage of the chosen topic that can result in quality analysis.
* Quality of analysis (30%) – Level of understanding well demonstrated to generate quality analysis and recommendations.
* Academic language (10%) – Ability to present quality discussions in discipline-specific vocabulary, grammar, punctuation and sentence structuring.
* References (15%) – Adequate quantity and quality of articles used to support quality discussions and analysis.
* Other sections (10%) – Adequate compliance to information presented in respective sections in a research essay e.g. conclusion, in-text-citations etc.
