Consider the following statement: the HR function is 100% an
“information product.” Apply the ‘marketspace’ framework, content
(knowledge/information), context (environment), and infrastructure (delivery
mechanism) to the HR function. Remember that these three elements combine to
present a value proposition to the customer (so don’t forget the value
proposition, nor the customer).
Are there any insights/lessons to be gained from the
Britannica experience that can be applied to the specific HR functions?
