Have you ever heard of a Virtual Tunnel? A virtual private network is software that establishes a secure link to your home or office network so that you can access that network while on the road. A VPN is a secure connection that uses the internet to set up a virtual “tunnel” through which you can connect to your network – these are called “Virtual Tunnels”.

Assume that you work for me in a small business selling building materials and we have salesmen that are often out at jobsites and need to access our store inventory and be able to place orders for delivery. Please write a 3 page proposal to management on what a virtual tunnel is, how much it would cost (assume we already have a network with internet connection and salesmen laptops), whether it should be hosted outside the company, and pros/cons.
