M5A1 Quiz Once you have completed all assigned readings and discussions, you should be ready to take the open-reference quiz. The quiz consists of two short-essay/answer questions based on Chapters 8 and 9 of your assigned textbook. The questions are as follows:

• Compare and contrast RAND’s Six Steps (2005) and Leppitt’s Integrated Model (2006). Be sure to include an explanation of when an organization would prefer to use one model over the other and the disadvantages of using each model.

• A vision is intended to provide direction to an organization. However, some organizations create vision statements but do not work to ensure that the vision statement is an integral component of the organization’s strategy. Explain how an organization can utilize its vision statement so that it becomes a central component of its strategic plan.

Remember:

• This is an open-reference quiz. You may use any resources you may need to provide adequate details to present your point of view in your essay responses. However, all work must be your own, and you should not consult with other people on it.

• Your submission should be 1-2 pages in length, double-spaced, with proper citations and references as per the APA format and writing style (6th edition).

• Submit your exam in Assignments by the end of Module 5. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your course instructor.

• This quiz will be graded according to the Essay Grading Rubric and comprises 10% of the total course grade.
