Find a recent news story that discusses a case of discrimination. Write a short paper on the following points:
- the underlying facts that were the basis of the discrimination charge;
- what federal or state agencies (if any) were involved in the case and what those agencies positions were on the matter;
- what regulations were said to have been violated and
- an analysis on whether the employee had a valid claim (and explaining why or why not).
- This paper should draw upon at least two outside sources. The sources should be included in a bibliography. Citations must be done in accordance with the MLA format.
- This paper should be between two and three pages double-spaced. You should not include a cover page with this paper.
- In the top left hand corner please write your name, the name of the assignment, the date and the name of the course.
- Please make sure that there are page numbers on your assignment.
- Please make sure that you are using standard margins and 12 point font (in Times New Roman, Garamond or a similar font).
