The course was all about measuring and acting on country risk so that corporations can do what they do best – propagate services and products and earn a profit. Through the formulation of knowledge we attempted throughout the to present theories, concepts and strategies to demonstrate how this could best be implemented.
There were authors referred to in the “Required Readings” section of the Syllabus. Please how five of the eleven authors contributed to your understanding of how best to country risk. (See the five below)

- Porter – Explain using Porter’s Diamond Model
- Hofstede – Explain using The Five dimensions Model
- Wartick & Wood’s book– Topic: Consider the Business Ethics (3 approaches: Ethical imperialism, Ethical relativism, Transnational principles
- Trompenaars / Hampden-Turner – Explain using the Seven Dimensions of Culture (Ref book: Riding the Waves of Culture, 1997)
