Ethics in a Changing World
After reading this week’s resources, please do the following:
- Find two examples of businesses existing between 1900-1950 that were unethical in their practices. Identify the companies and describe what they did that was unethical.
- Provide evidence that modern businesses are either more or less ethical than the two businesses you identified. Use at least two examples.
- What is available to businesses today that enables unethical dealings?
- What pressures are businesses facing in modern society that tends to require more transparency in their business dealings?
