is how project managers and other individuals can include sustainability objectives in projects
and not detract from the primary project objectives or increase the cost of the project above
measurable benefits that can result from sustainable accomplishments. It must focus on good
project management, which must include meeting objectives and customer requirements.
Your paper should be four to five pages, double or 1 1/2 spaced. This is for the body of the
report. Tables and figures can be included but the space they take is not part of the body of the
paper. It must meet APA requirements but this is not a research paper. It is your personal
understanding of the topic. It is to answer your understanding of the following questions related
to general project management and adding sustainability to the project management process.

Discuss the results that a project manager must obtain in order to successfully complete a
project?

Focusing on the project plan, what are the most important parts of the project plan that
will help the PM achieve success? You should not attempt to educate me about what these
parts are. They have names and I probably have heard of them before. Do not waste words. Be
sure to identify specifics and discuss why.

Adding sustainable objectives to a project where these are not a priority of the executives
seems like a great idea. If you wish to do this, we know it will affect the project as initially
proposed. How do you recommend this be done without adding significant resources?

Working on our project in a sustainable fashion is probably a good thing. What if doing so
costs extra money and our project is already operating on a tight budget. How do we proceed?

In an environment where people think that being sustainable in business, is “good” no
matter if it costs extra how do you as a project manager bound by the requirements of your
project justify focusing on the business objectives first and sustainability after that?

In conclusion, what do you consider the most important points that a project manager
must consider if he/she has a goal of adding sustainability to the projects, they manage?
