Contract Drafting Assignment
You have started a new business named Professional Clean LLC; your new business
cleans office spaces. You need to draft a contract for a new client, Mead Consulting, that wishes
to obtain your office cleaning services once per week for the next two (2) years. You have
already negotiated charging a fee of $315 per week to clean 15 offices, 4 bathrooms, 2 meeting
rooms, a sitting area, and a lunch room. You have agreed to provide the cleaning products and
equipment for the cleaning services.
As the owner of the business, you must draft the terms of the contract and present it
to the client. Here are some issues you must address in the contract. When will the contract
commence and end? How will the money be submitted to Professional Clean by Mead
Consulting? What does Professional Clean promise to do and what does Mead Consulting
promise to do? Think about the personalized and standard terms that must be included in this
business contract.
The contract shall be no more than five (5) pages in length, 1½ line spacing, twelve (12)
point Times New Roman font. The contract is worth a maximum of 150 points. With this
assignment you are going to have to make up some addresses and other details to complete the
contract.
