Business and cost justification proposals
( background: 1) a young computer company that assembles and sell personal computers, all of the computer components are purchased from wholesalers. 2) the company has 5 small assembly areas that each containing a set of hand tools a test station and a skilled technician it only takes the technician about 30 min to assemble a computer the company received 500 – 600 custom computer orders per week. )
My proposals
1) implement pull system since the company has experienced backlog and their assembly is not started until a customer purchase order is received.
2) Hire three more technician to be able to cover all orders
