Assignment 10.1 – Orientation and Training Program
You have just opened a new distribution center and have hired your first group of hourly
employees. The employees you hired are forklift drivers, pickers, truck drivers, and loaders.
The pickers use motorized carts to gather orders. Your assignment is to develop an
orientation and training program for these employees. The program you submit must
consist of either a 10 page PowerPoint presentation, or a 5 page PowerPoint presentation
accompanied by a business report document.
Keep in mind the orientation portion of your program must include a company profile (use
an existing company or create your own), company goals, company culture, work rules,
benefits, and procedures. The training section needs to include training requirements and
certifications required. Provide detailed information. Submit your work to Drop Box 10.1 by
the specified due date.
