1. For this assignment you will need to research an organization in the
sport industry, or construct your own, and create an organizational
chart of structure for the organization (figure 4.1, page 73 and 4.3,
page 79 in chapter 4 of the textbook are good visual examples). You
will want to provide a brief overview of the organization, and include
the following information:
o Organizational structure
o Dimensions of organizational structure
o Relationships among the dimensions of organizational
structure
o Organizational design
Your response should be at least 200 words in length and does
not need to be limited strictly to the information above. You are
required to use at least your textbook as source material for
your response. All sources used, including the textbook, must
be referenced; paraphrased and quoted material must have
accompanying citations.
