on businesses throughout the world.
1. How have the dynamics of doing business changed since the world has become more
globalized? How has the way we conduct business changed as a result of globalization?
2. How has the introduction of the concept of dynamic capabilities changed our
perspective on competitive advantage? How does this new concept of dynamic
capabilities fit with the resource-based view of the firm? What are the contradictions
between these two perspectives?
3. Do firms “really” have a choice when it comes to globalization? Or, is doing business on
an international level a requirement for all businesses? What impact does globalization
have on firms that voluntarily and consciously choose not to engage in international
business?
4. How does the neo-classical economic paradigm fit with the new business model of
