As fire service professionals, we must understand that preventing incidents from occurring significantly reduces cost, improves the quality of life, and increases the potential for economic sustainability of our communities. Community risk reduction (CRR) is the identification and prioritization of risks, followed by the integrated application of resources to improve public safety and reduce increasing call volumes.
Based on your experience, or the experience of others, explain why if you feel there is a time when taking an all-hazards approach when identifying risk reduction as part of our prevention programs is not necessary.

Unit IV Journal
There are different stances and opinions about training versus education. Some will say that training is more productive than education, while others will say the opposite. However, there are those who believe that the overall experience has more of a result than just focusing on training or education.
Based on your experience, do you feel that they are equally important or feel that one is more important than the other? Explain your reasoning.
