Using your organization or one that has been in the news recently as a case study, assess how power imbalances can impede an individual’s attempt to manage work-related conflict. In your discussion, be sure to address the following:
- Present a synthesized meaning of conflict and power.
- Determine how power can constrain or exacerbate conflict.
- Discuss ways for an organization’s leaders to integrate conflict mediation into organizational culture.
- Include specific examples of scenarios as well as concepts from the readings and outside research in your analysis.
