Is society better served with or without affirmative action? Take a position in favor or against affirmative action and defend your position. Next, consider college or university admissions. Based on the information in the Reading and the sidebar (“Testing Texas”), what combination of criteria would you recommend to make admissions decisions? Would affirmative action fit into your plan? How?
