Imagineyour team represents the executive committee at an
imaginary organization tasked with drafting a CSR policy. Each person must
represent a different stakeholder in the company.

Document your committee’s views on the essential
components of a CSR policy. Include the following:
• What is one social initiative your organization will
champion?
• What are the potential consequences of your chosen
social initiative and policy?

I researched the company
Skilcraft, its an organization that was created to create employment for the
blind. Its familiar to me because it sales a lot products to the military. The
national in dustries for the blind is another organization that connected to
Skilcraft that’s primary goal is helping the blind to obtain employment and
benefits through part-time employment.I was
thinking maybe our imaginary organization could be aimed at employing the
homeless, recovering drug addicts, and people with criminal backgrounds to make
earth friendly household cleaning products. I mean we can kind of go anywhere
with the assignment. It gives us a talking point for the following:
• Having prior criminals in the
neighborhood of the factory.
• Possible environmental concerns
• Profit and conflict with
society feeling like our organization is taking advantage of cheaper labor
• Higher customer satisfaction
for buyers, because they are buying a product that is safe for the environment
and helping someone get on their feet.
