segment serves companies and organizations in the retail grocery, retail,
banking, distribution, travel and leisure, postal, security, healthcare, and

look”, Men’s Wearhouse is frequently listed on FORTUNE’s “100 Best
Companies to Work For”. The Men’s Wearhouse Annual National Suit
Drive collects and distributes clothing to over 180 local non-profit
organizations that provide job-ready skills, training and seminars to
disadvantaged men and women entering or re-entering the workforce. Over
the past seven years, the National Suit Drive has collected approximately
850,000 professional clothing donations, Men’s Wearhouse was founded in 1973
and is based in Houston, Texas.

disposable incomes in other economies, your analysis should include how these
trends are likely to influence the personal computer industry. Do not discuss
specific companies in this section; instead, analyze the industry in general.
1.2. Industry Competitors Analysis (2?3
pages): In this section, the focus is on the direct and indirect competitors of
the assigned firm. You need to identify the major 2?4 competitors of the
assigned company and discuss their current market position and their
anticipated strategic moves. This section also explains all strategic groups in
the industry (Please refer to textbook page 51). You need to identify the top
2?4 strategic groups in the industry and provide a graph in the appendix.
1.3. Five Forces Analysis & Industry
Attractiveness (3?4 pages): You need to identify the top 2 business (sub?
industries or markets) which account for the majority of the overall company
sales and apply the 5 forces framework to each of them. This section ends with
a summary including an analysis of the industry attractiveness based on the
collective strength of the five forces. Industry attractiveness is defined as
its long? term profit potential of the industry. Your analysis should clearly
address profitability of the industry for an “average” firm. You are required
to provide a table (in the appendix) summarizing your findings using the format
shown below.
