INDIVIDUAL PROJECT
Project Title: How To Conduct Purchasing And Manage The Supply Chain
Project Description
As part of the course, each student individually must prepare a competitive proposal that
describes how to conduct purchasing and manage supply chain. The title of your proposal is
How To Conduct Purchasing And Manage The Supply Chain. Your proposal will be
competitively evaluated as is normally done in a source selection evaluation. You must write
your proposal to convince the evaluator(s) that you know how to conduct purchasing and manage
the supply chain better than your competitors. Proposals will be ranked with winning proposals
receiving more points. Some ideas for consideration are listed in the Purchasing and Supply
Chain Management Capabilities section below.
Proposal Due Date
The proposal is due by midnight on the last day of Session 11. The proposal may be submitted
earlier.
Proposal Instructions
Each proposal shall contain an executive summary. Line spacing is to be double-spaced. The

shall not exceed ten (10) pages. The page count excludes the title page, executive summary,
appendices, references, graphics, tables, figures, table of contents, and PowerPoint presentation.
Shorter papers are allowed. All proposals must comply with the latest edition of the Publications
Manual of the American Psychological Association, except as noted here or by amendments
posted in the classroom.
