Case Study: The Government of KSA has attended a GCC countries energy summit. It has been
decided that by year 2050, 70% of the energy should be based on solar power. For this reason
KSA officials have made the decision to construct a major solar park, 4MW capacity in the desert
between Dammam and Al Khobar. Four project managers will be appointed including yourself
responsible for 1MW of power each. You are appointed for area C. This solar project will be part
of a major KSA program with other solar parks to be added gradually. Task A: The project charter is a document that officially starts a project or a phase. It actually
formally authorizes the existence of the project and provides a reference source for the future of
the project. You have been asked by the council of Economic Development and affairs (KSA) who is
the sponsor of the solar project park to prepare the project charter. For your assistance,
