Select a system for use in this course of study and then describe it in the following ways, using the information you discovered in Week 1.
In a paper, address the following:
- Define a business management system and how was this system developed? What are the fundamental assumptions upon which it was built
- If you are defining a subsystem of a larger organization, describe the interrelationships between the identified “system for analysis” and the larger system, and any other subsystems and greater systems.
- Describe the lifecycle of the system.
- Describe the context and situation without yet moving to deep analysis. Avoid the tendency to “prescribe” solutions prematurely.
- Indicate the boundaries of the system.
- Identify recognizable issues about how “the system” is defined now.
Support your paper with a minimum of three (3) scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.
