ANALYSIS OF ECONOMY AND INDUSTRY
Discuss the relationship of economic conditions to industry sales. For example, when the economy is growing do industry sales increase or decrease? How much of a factor are economic condition to industry sales? In addition, discuss significant industry issues and indicate what portion of industry sales are captured by the company.
This part of the assignment needs to be 1 – 2 pages and include citations of references used at the end of the assignment.
SWOT ANALYSIS (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats)
Review at least 3 years of historical data (5 – 10 years is preferred) and then discuss significant company:
– Strengths
– Weaknesses
– Opportunities
– Threats
* Note – Strengths and Weakness are internal, Threats are external, and Opportunities tend to be a combination of internal Strengths combined with favorable industry/economy factors. There is a difference between Opportunities and Options.
