As the Chief Operating Officer for Post Corporation, you
receive many requests from current and former employees for letters of
recommendation. Yesterday, you received an e-mail request to write a letter of
recommendation from an employee who worked for you six years ago. You recall
that the former employee did commendable work, but you do not remember any
specific information. Should you write the letter of recommendation? Why or why
not?
